Malignant schwannoma of the dorsal spinal nerve root in a laboratory rat

A malignant schwannoma arising in a dorsal spinal nerve root is described in a 79-week old male CD1 (Sprague-Dawley) rat. The neoplasm had invaded the spinal cord and caused posterior paralysis.
